Reception Class:
If your child was born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022, they will be due to start Reception in September 2026. This marks the beginning of their primary school journey and applications typically open in the autumn term of 2025. All children who fall within this date range are eligible to start full-time school at the beginning of the autumn term in 2026, when they will join our reception class and begin an exciting new chapter in their learning and development.
Nursery Class:
If your child was born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023, they will be eligible to start Nursery in September 2026. Depending on their date of birth, some children may also be able to start earlier in January or April, following their third birthday. All three and four year olds are entitled to 15 hours of free early education each week, and many working families also qualify for 30 hours of free childcare. These funded hours help children access high-quality early learning experiences, supporting their social, emotional, and academic development before they move on to Reception.
