Outcomes for children
Our teachers have to complete statutory assessments for the children at various points as they progress through school. These assessments are only a part of the broad learning outcomes for our children and we would encourage you to look at other parts of the website and visit the school to find out more about us.
2022 - 2023 School Year
In the school year 2022 - 2023 our statutory assessment outcomes were as follows:
Early Years Foundation Stage Profile: 74% of children achieved a Good Level of Development (national average = 67%)
Year 1 Phonics Check: 67% achieved the expected standard (national average = 79%)
Year 2 Reading: 73% achieved the expected standard (national average = 68%)
Year 2 Writing: 75% achieved the expected standard (national average = 60%)
Year 2 Maths: 68% achieved the expected standard (national average = 70%)
2021 - 2022 School Year
In the school year 2021 - 2022 our statutory assessment outcomes were as follows:
Early Years Foundation Stage Profile: 53% of children achieved a Good Level of Development (national average = 65%)
Year 1 Phonics Check: 53% achieved the expected standard (national average = 76%)
Year 2 Reading: 50% achieved the expected standard (national average = 67%)
Year 2 Writing: 52% achieved the expected standard (national average = 58%)
Year 2 Maths: 55% achieved the expected standard (national average = 68%)
2019 - 2020 School Year
All standards assessment tests were cancelled for the academic year 2019-2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic resulting in school closures and lockdown.
2018 - 2019 School Year
In the school year 2018 - 2019 our statutory assessment outcomes were as follows:
Early Years Foundation Stage Profile: 60% of children achieved a Good Level of Development (national average = 71%)
Year 1 Phonics Check: 72% achieved the expected standard (national average = 82%)
Year 2 Reading: 59% achieved the expected standard (national average = 75%)
Year 2 Writing: 48% achieved the expected standard (national average =69%)
Year 2 Maths: 67% achieved the expected standard (national average = 76%)
