FOWIS

Friends of Wigton Infant School (FOWIS) is a friendly group run by parents. 

FOWIS helps us raise additional money to spend on the children attending school.  In the past, for example, they have held events including a Valentine’s Disco, Easter Chocolate Bingo, and a Summer Social event that coincides with the school’s sports day.

Profits raised by events held are used to enhance children's learning at school. This may be for example, helping to buy books or resources for school or putting money towards a school trip.

FOWIS meet regularly.  Please keep an eye on the school newsletters for the dates of forthcoming meetings.

Everyone is welcome to attend, with new ideas always welcomed. We also have a group of volunteers who give some of their time to help with events either in the set up or on the day. Every little helps, so just one hour assisting at an event would be a great help.
